Mr Avacado Saves the Day

This is a fully working version of Mr Avacado Saves the World.

Originally Released for the GMTK Game Jam 2023, inspired by into the breach and slay the spire; take controll of Mr Avacado and fight back the many waves of invading fruits and monsters attacking his land.

Gameplay Tutorial

Whenever you play a card, the enemies will take a move also. This includes the movement of projectiles across the screen.

Each alternating move will move you 2 squares instead of 1, as Mr Avacado rolls off his head. This is indicated by the double arrow.

After 3 cards have been played (of any type) the move direction arrow will swap sides. This indicates that your roll has been reversed. This can also be done via specific cards.

After you have played 3 cards you will be able to refresh your hand for free, otherwise the refresh will cost 1 turn of movement. A free refresh is indicated when the refresh button turns green.

Health is shown in the top right corner of the screen and currently all enemies die in 1 hit.
